The community for assessment in this case is Detroit, the largest city in the Midwestern State of Michigan. Housing Housing in Detroit has been greatly influenced by the fall of U. S automobile industry. Currently, the community records highest numbers of vacant homes, as most are evacuated. The community records a population decline, since the year 2012. The degree of insensitivity could lead to dissatisfaction and wrangles, posing further risky activities. Public Spaces Public spaces especially those of historical significance still act as attraction sites for most of the community’s population. However, some of the buildings have been demolished to build rental houses, thus offering people a chance to live in the fairly better housing (“Detroit,” 2018). The public spaces provide a good site for people to come together, people can thus hang out.

However, with increasing incidence of crime, it becomes difficult. The tourist centers are located in an area easily accessible (“Detroit, 2018). Visits by a tourist in the area earns the community income, which is later used to uphold the people’s living standards, improving their nutrition and medical facilities hence healthy lives. Streetscape The community offers several streetscapes with most having sidewalks. They are much attractive with a majority having sitting joints. The streetscape is fitted with trashcans only at least every corner, facilitating environmental cleanliness (“Detroit’, 2018). The parking sign is also well placed minimizing the incidence of collision due to unawareness (“Detroit,” 2018). Direction signs are well put in significant areas of concern; ensuring people get to their supposed destination. Community members thus find it easy to access the hospital for medical care.

Apart from French, the Japanese language is also used in signpost. Industry The major industry in the community is automobile industry. Most of the roads are either not correctly built or not built at all. The community has water breaks like in almost every part of the city. The water breaks lead to much water loss; as a result, there is a need for them to be repaired. The community recorded being bankrupt, which is a hindrance towards the establishment of proper and adequate infrastructures. People have to scramble for the few available resources (Carlson, 2016). Also, water leakages are all over. Poor temperature regulation in the classrooms is a significant concern as the children experience seasons of high temperature or low temperature.
