Why do i want to become a nurse

My personal view is that there is more to being a nurse than just taking care of the sick. Individuals who have saved lives someday are considered heroes but people forget that is what nurses do every day. I am the kind of individual who gets a heartache when I see people suffering. Therefore, I see nursing as an opportunity or a gesture of giving back to society. I need to help and I want to be among the individuals who help people live a pain-free life. This is the reason I never went to college and rather opted to join the army. I believe I could get the money that will help me enroll in my long life dream of becoming a nurse.

I remember when I was in the army I was always the first person to attend to injured soldiers as well as civilians. I was deployed in Afghanistan which is a hostile area and I served for about 4 years in the infantry, combat Job. Being there I found myself mostly attending to the wounded sometimes soldiers and sometimes civilians and make them feel better. Touching other people's lives is part of me whether it is noticed or not as long as they are satisfied. The work nurses do it's not an easy one also to achieve the statues to be called nurse it the hardest part. This implies that nurses do better in their workplaces. Having understood this, my attributes, inspirations, and character all point towards nursing.
