Apart from that, it scrutinizes the relationship between the person’s understanding and the surrounding environment. The theory tries merely to answer the influencing factors that cause the thoughts of someone to interact with the world. Piaget narrowed down to study the development and to think of children (Feldman, 2016). I choose the theory because there is a connection between the method and what goes on in real life and that there is a regular flow from one stage to the other. For more natural understanding, he subdivided the theory into four parts, which are as follows: The first part is the Sensorimotor, the stage in which studies an infant at the age of birth and two. The last phase is the Formal Operational that runs from the age of twelve to adulthood.

At this point, they have a clear understanding of theoretical concepts can start having skills of logical thinking, reasoning, and planning. This period is when a child becomes independent, starts making his or her own decisions. As human development, they are biopsychosocial forces that cause the changes. These forces as follows: vital, psychological, sociocultural and life cycle forces. These psychological changes usually occur during the childhood and then shifts to the adult and finally to older age (Higgins, 2017). The real-life example is the difference in the thinking and making of decisions by children and adults. According to children, their choices revolve around wants and needs but that of the adults’ ways the decision basing on the priorities, which results in forgoing some wants for other.
