In 1988, Congress granted compensation installments to every survivor of the camps (Makovi, 93). The mighty movement of Japanese Americans into internment camps was not that they were found guilty of anything regarding the attack on Pearl Harbor rather on the basis that their ancestral roots were from Japan. The government of United States of American did not conduct any investigates to determine the real bombers before embarking on the evacuation process (which was forceful). This was a clear indication that the Japanese American citizens were purely discriminated hence considered inferior to those of the American born children.
