As the story of the wonder woman progresses, it takes us from the early history of the treatment of the women in the society to the present generation. From the story, it’s evident that Margret Sanger plays a vital role in the shaping up of the storyline since she happens to have a sense of connection to the main actors. This study seeks to evaluate different forms of feminism and how the book has helped one understand what was going on with women history giving final opinion whether the book critically highlighted this key issues. As the storyline progresses, we happen to encounter and see most shocking revelations in the book. There is bondage of women in the book. Marston happens to be in a state of limbo since he first starts out with interest in law then later philosophy, psychology and eventually ending up being carried away with the film.

Dr. Marston is enclosed in between a state of feminism and suffrage while he was still young. The reason behind this being that Emmeline Pankhurst came to speak at Harvard and in the same time he was in love with Elizabeth Holloway who was in Mount Holyoke, which was termed as a headquarter of the suffragist. Emmeline Pankhurst was a political activist from Britain and a leader for the British suffragette movement who played an important role ensuring that women were entitled to vote. Olive Byrne tends to distance herself from the radical affiliations. Olive Byrne is impressive when he explains out the reason for Margret Sanger taking the movement from the aspect of socialism into the uptown New York from Greenwich Village.

She explains this by saying that the money for anything is where the people have money and not where the people are less fortunate or ragtag people. In the book, instances of feminism manifest itself. Marston’s life at some point questions his feminist attributes and commitments. The writer Jill Lepore states that it was Holloway job that supported the family while Marston was busy moving from one scheme to another. Olive Byrne is also seen to be taking care of her children from his work of typing books. If Marston had started his comic strip in the 1920s, it would not have been met or received well. This is mainly because in the 1920s, the women had not started engaging in social activism and social reforms hence they were still under oppression at that time.
