Therefore, a family is just a social unit which gives one a sense of belonging and happiness over the lifetime. In the traditional set-up, a family is made up of father, mother and at least one child. Nowadays the family structure has changed since this is not what the modern family might mean. In the traditional families, each family was supposed to have children, but today the number of children depends on the choice of the parents.
