For example, to determine whether an increase in subject X is associated with an increase in subject Y, it would be advisable to do away with the differences between X and Y and only analyze the changes that took place. As a result, multiple regression would be essential in looking at variation within subjects. However, two methods can be used to establish the correlation between variable. The test statistic produced is referred to as at-value, which is an extension of z-scores (Orcher, 2016). From a different angle, the t-value represents the standard values with which the means of the two groups vary. Equally, the performance difference that might be established may occur by chance or might be evident in the given population.
