The two types of Research Methods include Ethnographic study and Hermeneutic. Research Methodology entails the approach of finding out the result of a particular issue on a particular problem or problem. The problem is known or referred to as the research problem. Researchers, in methodology, make use of distinct criteria to search/solve a particular research issue or problem. Various sources use various types of techniques/ methods for problem-solving. This is the measure that assists in determining how to correct the results of a method of research are. Validity refers to whether or not measures of the study what it should measure. The study results offer stronger support/ evidence in case the research portrays greater level/ measure of validity. The studies of Ethnographic can change the misunderstandings and notions about a specific culture into positive understanding (Coleman and Hellermann, 2018).

The studies of Ethnographic can as well led credibility or validity to interpretation s from a given study concerning a given study that has been carried out or conducted in the past. Ethnography is important since it enables people to record their culture as well as preserve their heritage (Coleman and Hellermann, 2018). There are many cultures around the world that could go unnoticed if ethnographies studies were not present. Some practices of cultures are distinct or unique to certain cultures, and traditions are not transferred to the next generations like it used to be (Coleman, and Von Hellermann, 2018). Ethnographies can be important in preserving customs by recording them. Also, ethnographic studies can infringe on the rights of privacy of the participants if the rights are not upheld or understood.

Data in Hermeneutic is recognized to be very subjective; thereby recognizing the validity of the information is hard. Also, there can be induced bias by the researcher (Wheeldon, 2018). Data interpretation can be hard. The qualitative results not presented or demonstrated in a manner that is important to the practitioners (Huey, 2010). Besides, generalizable data is not produced. However, it is likely to employ both in a research. Mostly, the utilization of quantitative methodology works as a validation when needed. Quantitative research embraces sampling to promote analysis. It is likely to improve the validity of the results once they can fit in a given statistical aspect of study. For qualitative method, the sample space might a bit larger since it banks on stories to create meaning.

It also has the ability to statistically analyze the coded forms. The disadvantages also surface. There is need to have the initial coding of texts (Akkari, Sandoval, Le Perchec & Réchauchère, 2018). It makes it possible to develop the categories to enhance analysis. Once there is an inaccurate code, then the findings becomes invalid. , & Réchauchère, O.
