The city has gone through so much transition since it was first built by the English explorers. For instance after establishing the city as an industrial zone and having grown into a trading centre a civil war which resulted in the destruction of the town to its knees erupted. But the resilient nature of the New Yorkers came into view as immediately after the war they embarked into the rebuilding of the city they believed in, and after some time it came to its former glory. In my opinion gratification of the city after any relapse, either caused by war, a natural or artificial circumstance has been the key to the growth and re-establishment of New York. The unfortunate event of the 2001 bombing of the city is the most recent show of how the city turned things around and emerged once again to its former state.
