Some of which are social stigmatization, financial hardships, poor health and early life disadvantages. These disadvantages are evident due to parental divorce, unemployment, incomplete schooling, reliance on government income support, membership of highly stigmatized groups and low income. A marginalized society seldom grows economically because a part of the population is not given an equal opportunity like others to take part in the growth of the nation. This derails most nations that are racists. Racism in Australia, as Stan Grant says it, kills the Australian dream. Indigenous Australians equally matter in the growth of the Australian nation. Stan Grant says it all, the war of racism is far from over and he longs for the day he can stand and say Australians are a one nation with no discrimination.
