This is not true because the middle class is the job creators. The stronger the middle class becomes; the more job opportunities will be created because there will be more spending by the middle class hence contributing to the creation of more employment opportunities by business firms to increase their profits (Frank and Philip 20). This makes the economy stable as a result of strong, vibrant and growing middle class. Fighting inequality is class warfare is another notion. This is because there exists a wide disparity between the upper class and middle class regarding taxation. Therefore, it has become tough for middle-class Americans to sustain their expenditure. Widening income inequality has become a serious issue in the US although it can be managed.

Frank and Philip suggest that some of the ways that can be used to overcome income inequality involve reforming the tax system to ensure equal taxation between the upper class and middle class, invest in education to build capacity and a better workforce (20). This is because strong, vibrant and growing middle class will contribute to the stable economy. The documentary has historicized and humanized economics by revealing the progressive changes that economy has undergone regarding the distribution of income and wealth through different periods in the history to enable economics to become more equitable, just, as well as humane in future (Reich 40).
