There are some devices used invasively in hospitals during treatment that cause nosocomial illnesses. Such devices are catheters, and ventilators. Copper can also be used to sanitize these surfaces (Fernando et al, 2017). Organization Culture Generally, all the solutions proposed are quite simple to implement. Patients who have undergone recent surgery will no longer have infections infecting their wounds. Patients that are fitted with catheters will also not experience infections at the points of catheter entries. Sanitizing of the surfaces and objects within the proximity of the patients would also mean that patients will be handling clean surfaces and thus patients with low immune will not be predisposed to nosocomial infections (Fernando et al, 2017). Method to Achieve Outcomes To achieve the outcomes desired from the solutions, the hospital will have to ensure that they set aside more rooms and space to ensure that they have ample isolation space for the patients with infected wounds. They must also offer patients education on hand washing and maintaining hand hygiene.
