The structure of a Literacy Narrative
• Description of the setting: It is essential to mention and describe the setting of where the narrative is based. Describe to the audience the kind of people involved or who were around. The people form the bigger part of the narrative as they affect the main character in one way or another. A good description should include how they look, how they dress, their movements and anything that makes them unique to the next person. A perfect way to capture this feature is through the use of dialogue. In your ending always refer your readers back to the beginning of the narrative so as to create a link between what happened at first and the effects it caused in the end.
