This movie shows that the Americans claim unity by virtue of gathering together but in reality, there are racial disparities amongst them, which are evidenced in a horrendous but comical way. Analysis The Party Scene The specific scene of the happening of a party clearly brings out the racial prejudice in a humorous manner because of the conversations that Chris and several guests engage in during their interaction. Ross’s boyfriend in this movie is a representation of the black people who are in real life marginalized but theoretically, it sounds like there are no racial disparities at all. The visitors invited at the party seem to have a good conversation with Chris and Ross until a point when the former decides to excuse himself and walks away from the conversation they were engaged in with Gordon and Emily.

It is ironical that Logan acknowledges that Chris has felt comfortable in his company only for him to leave Chris in shock with the little dance he does (Ezell, 2016 p. The satire in this incident is a mockery of the black people’s norms. This represents an example of mockery, a feature that justifies and confirms the success of the use of satire. Therefore, “Get Out” is an effective satire for having utilized the different symbols, and imagery to put across arguments.
