Cognitive theory gives us the meaning of learning as a change in behaviours in narrow way and also is the study of learners rather than the environment. Educational psychology is set to observe the functioning of human brain during learning process. These learning theories plays an important roles in learning process since they help in understanding how knowledge is acquired and how skills can be retained. Constructivism theory tells that learners ability to learn is relied on what they already been taught or what they know already. These learning theories they help understand more about how learning occurs (Beloglovsky & Daly, 2015). According to behaviourism learning theory, learners are drilled with instructions which cannot help the learner to solve problem or think critically.

This theory makes the learners not able to change or improve what they have been taught. In behaviourism learning theory, learners always follow what they have taught whether it is wrong or right. They don’t have the ability to change what they have been taught. In behaviourism learning theory, the learners are prepared to have basic facts or have the performing tasks. There are factors that are being considering while exercising the cognitive theory of learning. These factors interrelate to each other. They include; behavioural factors, environmental and personal factors. In the learner’s environment interaction, learners’ beliefs and ideas can be changed or improved by external factors such as hot climate, cold climate and stressful environments. Environment-behaviour interaction can also affect the way a person displays his or her behaviours.

If the language learners also interact with other language speakers they will get knowledge to speak and know the meaning of some words. The learners can also research how various tools and objects operate from the internet or they can seek more information from the resource people. For example, if learners want to know how to drive, they can visit an instructor from a driving school and where they can be given information on how to drive and even perform other duties like repairing the motor vehicles. Various environmental activities can affect learning. If learners are learning in a place where there are so many resources, they will be able to understand more compared to learners who are just located in a strategic place without resources.

Each learner has different constructions of knowledge and also how to interpret in the learning process. In constructivism theory of learning, the learners are not blank but they can bring past experiences. In this learning theory, there is a misunderstanding regarding constructivism on that, teachers or the educators are not supposed to tell the learners anything directly but instead they are supposed to let them construct knowledge for themselves. We assume that the learners can construct all knowledge from their previous knowledge on how they were taught. Through listening to their instructors learners can be helped to construct new knowledge. Personal agency is associated on the choices we make in life or paths which we follow in our live. Learners are basically nice and have the ability to make them better in their live.

Motivational theory is used to clarify learner’s behaviour. Motivation is very important in learning process because it makes the learning process succeed. Learning process is always endless and in order to make it smooth there must be motivation to the learners. Theoretically supported strategies that can help someone in my professional life There are several theoretically supported strategies. These strategies show how a learner is taught and how learning can be more effective to help the learners acquire knowledge. These strategies also help the learners to oppose what they are supposed to teach the subject matters. Cognitive strategies show the methods for inducing the learners to perform learning operations. Orienting tasks helps the learners to develop a good performance of cognitive processes also enable more usage of that.

These strategies they help us to understand more about learner’s behaviours in the learning institution (Schunk, 2011). Instructional strategy offers guidance on how to learn on something, thus it makes learning process so simple. It gives us the ability to understand about others and the way they are learning or acquiring knowledge. These learning strategies they give a facilitator an easy way to facilitate learning among learners. These strategies they set learning tools which facilitate learning among the students. References Beloglovsky,M. , & Daly,L. Early Learning Theories Made Visible. Redleaf Press. Richards,J. Learning theories shows how learners catch up, process and keep their knowledge during learning activities. Learning can be affected by the cognitive, emotional and also the environmental aspects.

Behaviourists states that learning comes when a learner acquires some behaviours from associating him or herself with the stimuli and responses. Through this there will be change of behaviours among the learning and this can be referred to as learning. This theory makes the learners not able to change or improve what they have been taught. In behaviourism learning theory, learners always follow what they have taught whether it is wrong or right. This learning theory shows the different learning processes regarding learning activities can be described by an analysing the mental process first. Cognitive learning theory can also be used to explain mental problems. There are factors that are being considering while exercising the cognitive theory of learning. These factors interrelate to each other. They include; behavioural factors, environmental and personal factors. For example learners can check some information from the internet which can increase their knowledge on certain aspect.
