The Vision contains long term goals based on the strength and capabilities of the country to achieve them. It hopes to help people live in a country where they can quickly achieve their dreams. So many scholarly articles have been written about the Vision. Some criticize while others find to be achievable. In this review, the focus is based on a critical analysis of two scholarly articles from Saudi’s Digital Library. Some individuals see its success in the future, while others see the slow death of the economy. Anyway, everyone has a right to have his/her own opinion. In a company, many followers have different views, yes they work toward achieving the goals set, but they don’t believe that the goals will work for the company (Rouillard, 2013).

Many obstacles may undermine Saudi Arabia’s potential to succeed. The main obstacle could be the absence of transparency as well as openness. Also, the productivity growth in the country was a mere 0. This showed that the country was developing slowly; thus, boom prices of oil did not have a significant impact on the country’s growth. According to the writer, financial reserves in the country dropped to $623 billion from $732 billion. These made the government to issue bonds to global markets so that they would to get money for spending. This situation was so bad for an economy. One is because it is focusing so much on the development of the economy and leaves out political developments. A member of the board of the Reserve Bank of Australia said that for Saudi Arabia vision 2030 to succeed, the government must change the country’s politics and society.

It should focus on having good leaders. Good leadership is vital in everything. They forget about the leaders in the government, the persons to spearhead achievement of the goals (Dodd, 2012). Other projects have been left out. Their focus should be in not only the future but also the present (Ramady, 2010). The mega project is quite useful because it will provide jobs for so many people. It will not only improve the country’s economy but also boost it from being the 19th largest economy to top 15. However, industries like that of petrochemicals are already well developed. All these strategies will see to it that the economy continues rising despite the conditions present. Conclusion In conclusion, the writer views Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 as a great plan that can be achieved.
