Human trafficking is forcefully taking away or forcing someone somewhere without their knowledge or forcefully. Human traffickers have been noted as one of the most organized crime syndicates in the world and it has created one of the west humanitarian crisis in the world. The human traffickers often perform or run their crimes in an organized method and it is a business that is often run on international grounds. Reasons for the Increase in Human Smuggling There are several reasons that are making the human smuggling business thrive in the world today. Just like any other business, the demand for human beings is still high in the present society. The victims of sex trafficking estimated to be about 30000 die annually. This is according to the research which shows that the majority of them die through torture, diseases, and unfriendly working environment.

80 % of these victims are sold into sex slavery. A young woman even as young as 12 years old, according to a charged sex trafficker, can be bought by about 100000 dollars and get the money back in less than a weeks’ time. Young girls are termed favorite because they can create a robust profit due to the fact that most sexual predators prefer young girls. In the long run, the high demand for this body parts has triggered the human traffickers to outsource for human beings where they kill them and harvest these body parts to the ready market in the world today. Teenage girls and boys as young as 12 years are the victims targeted by cartels who run organ harvesting. Vital organs of the body such as the kidney are the parts targeted.

The victims are enticed with a huge sum of money, surprisingly getting nothing at the end. The body organs harvested are sold in the black market. Methods used by Human Traffickers to Control their Victims Human traffickers have developed various methods that they can apply to create and maim the people who have captured to yield to their demands. These methods are often inhumane and quite very obnoxious. These methods are very brutal and they force human beings to meet their demands. One of the methods that are applied by the drug traffickers is physical assaults. Those who try to run away from their captors are often physically assaulted greatly and they end up accepting their fate. Human trafficking can have adverse effects on the victims and society at large.
