He pointed out that the court had rejected student-enrollment plans which were meant to prevent de facto resegregation. Brayer had accused the court and the majority for failing to abide by the new country’s efforts to end the racial division, he sadly said that this violation of ruling would, however, make the people regret. Along with civil rights groups, Breyer helped to place the ruling into action in the liberal indictment. The old paradigms are now being eclipsed fully by global forces of markets and privatization, new articulations of class, race and urban space. The book also analyses the relationship which exists between neoliberal economic, education policy and ideological processes.
