Hamlet
Document preview:
Contrast to Hamlet, in the prequel, Gertrude has a very strong-minded attitude that conflicts the political agenda that is set for her country. Her father has found someone for her to marry. He suggests that she marry Wilson, as he attempts to bring political conflicts to its minimum in the country. However, Gertrude does not accept this proposal at first. She challenges it for a while but left with no option, she later marries Wilson. He argues that nobody should be spending much time at school. As opposed to the Hamlet play, here Hamlet does not appear to be insane and revengeful.
A Prequel to Hamlet.
