Global Warming essay

The polar regions have particularly been affected by this problem. This is because the high temperatures emanating from global warming melt the ice in these regions and the result is the raising of the sea levels. This has also put the islands at risk of being submerged with time and research has indicated that if this trend is to continue, then by 2021 the sea levels will have risen by one to four feet above where they are currently. Another negative effect of global warming is that it has led to the extinction of numerous species of plants and animals. Those species which cannot cope with global warming are disappearing at a high rate and soon we are going to lose that biodiversity.
