Document Type:Coursework
Subject Area:Criminology
Advantages of federalism One of the benefits of this system of government is that the participation of the citizens in the governance is highly increased. This is because the citizens are close to the state government and hence they will give their areas of interest which they would like the state to touch on. Moreover, federalism is an efficient system in that the problems encountered in the state can be solved because people have been given the authority to do so (Ziegler, et al. Besides, the system encourages the innovation of Laws and Policy in that many of the laws and policies are tried, and the one that works in the best manner is found to be the most effective. On the other hand, conflicts are managed in the right way because people create their policies which they believe can be used to solve the problems that affect them.
