Sometimes people are forced to provide a lot of personal information which can later be used against them by cyber criminals. The cheapness of getting and acquiring personal information of an internet user is marking the differences between digital environment of collecting information and doing commerce from the traditional one. Some of this policies includes, cookies and tracking, how information is used, information collected automatically, information that you voluntarily provide, interaction with children, privacy act information, security of information, third party web sites and data sharing practices and your rights.

Therefore, this paper will discuss the achievements made by FCC as it tries to protect one’s privacy whilst online. It will also discuss the weak areas of FCC mobile policy and the legal considerations that affect the FCC policy regulations. Literature Review on Internet Privacy Policy The increase of the internet users has led to the need of having policies that will govern the and protect users’ privacy as they browse on the internet. The concern of securing one’s personal information whilst online has made it difficult for people to differentiate between the real meaning of information securing and information privacy and in most cases, the two terms are used interchangeably.
