On the other hand, Juror 8 is an honest man with an open mind for evidence and reasonable doubt at the same time. Since the two Jurors are very different in their own ways they both have singular views and thoughts relating to the murder case at hand. Their differences are widely portrayed in the film as they argue out the case. Juror 8 is portrayed as a man who is devoted to justice. This is seen at the beginning of the film when he was the only one who voted ‘not guilty’ the first time the twelve Jurors called a vote (Pitt, 8). This is seen when he refers to kids in reference to their current behaviors. He also generalizes age groups and dislikes both the young and the old. Due to his strong opinions, Juror 3 is actively involved in the film and is never afraid to say what he believes in. He is a stubborn juror who is not ready to give in and accept that the defendant is not guilty.
