Afterwards, Octavian emerged victorious and was made the commander by the people and the senate of Rome and later he attained the title Augustus. Augustus victory was established by the objectives of dynasty succession which was opposed by his outliving the count out of potential heirs. Owing to the Greek great history, Dio Cassius, the succession of the emperor Commodus put to an end of descend as Commodus reign led to the end of the Roman Empire. During his reign Diocletian demarcated the region into four each subjected by a leader appointed by the emperor (Galinsky, Karl, and Kenneth 94). His reign together with his co-emperor and the four regions soon ended with a lot of confidence that he fixed the disorders plaguing Rome.

Finally, the influence ended with the demise of Constantine IX and the end of the existence of the four quarters and later to the demise Ottoman Turks. The peasant groups came from the small groups, which were categorized in some sub-groups which had different duties (Markel & Rita 85). The free men who could own some pieces of land which they paid rents for although they had title deeds. In the middle Ages, villain represented a certain class of serfs that were very common in the society. They existed under some legal restrictions that differentiated them from the freemen though they had a higher class and more rights and privileges compared to the serfs. The city of Rome exhibited civilization which led to its connection with the western civilization on the building up of subsequent cultures. The classical Latin literature evolved during the middle Ages and remained in use in the Roman Catholic Church as Latin Ecclesiastics which preceded the Latin language of the ancient Rome.

Used in regular social interactions was Vulgar Latin which evolved simultaneously into the several Latin languages that existed up to date. Throughout the middle ages, Latin retained its elevated status as far as communication was concerned for the learned classes which was exhibited particularly in the Renaissance and Baroque periods (Potter & David 67). Books were written in Latin and in addition to this, Romance languages that descendent from Latin was used by a great number of populations as their first languages. In exclusion of the Portuguese, the Romance language utilizes the ordinal number of the week days and preserves original Latin of days of the week with an exception of Sunday which is only featured in the Christian calendar (Galinsky, Karl & Kenneth 77).

The idea of widespread of the days of the week from Celtic to Germanic and the Albanian people before the end of the empire after followed by replacement of the names to Latin gods. As Christianity ultimately replaced Hellenistic and the Classical Roman religion, many vital religious ideas and interrogations were results of the western theology which originated with pre-historical theology. Plato was the first philosopher to question the idea of God’s existence. However, he was given some designed arguments by both Socrates and Aristotle which remained an argumentative topic up to date. Tensions begun to rise between the two as Octavian and Mark Antony defeated the last Caesars assassination at the battle of Philippi. Lepidus was forced into exile. Antony ended up committing suicide as the Triumvirate was torn apart by the competitive ambitions of its partners with Octavian finally annexing Egypt to the empire after being defeated at the war of Actium by the fleet being interfered with by the opponents.
