Similarities Employee conduct: The sustainability reports shows that the employees from both organizations have the same behaviour. In line with the Code of conduct and ethics, ANZ employees report 1,443 breaches on the code of conduct and 121 whistleblowing reports. On the other hand, NAB reports 1,613 violations of the code of conduct and 88 whistle-blower disclosures received from the whistleblower policy (An, Davey, and Harun 2017: 1530). 4% of the females on full-time and 0. 2% (part-time). Similarly, the workforce for ANZ records employees based on their gender. Permanent term employees (females) comprises of full-time (19,114) and part-time (5,210) while permanent male employees comprise of full-time (20,495) and part-time (712) (de Villiers, and Sharma 2017: 62).

The total workforce of ANZ entails 25, 512 (females) and 22, 262 (males) while that of NAB entails 50. Financial health: NAB has a stronger CET1 ratio of 10. 5% for 2016-2017 financial year placing it at the top of the banking organizations. This is achieved through a $5. 6 billion equity raised earlier in 2017 and the float of Great Western in the United States. On the other hand, ANZ is also well capitalized with a CET1 ratio of approximately 9. The requirements that all the employees must comply with the code of conduct. Ethical actions The ANZ performs more ethical actions as compared to unethical ones. The policy further minimizes the standards as well as guiding and directing the organization in detecting laundering of money and terrorism funding activities (Omar et al. Through the utilitarian ethical theory, we learn that openness in business activities results in the innovation of various methods of operations. This policy is appealed and adopted in the bank organization to provide a way for the employees and contractors to raise issues concerning ethical standards without discrimination.
