The two stories paint a picture of a world that is full of distinct components and people who are very systematic in establishing a related framework of thinking. One most significant similarity that exists between the two stories is that the main character has created an unrealistic type of expectations on women. Both of the given characters have made their primary focus on one specific girl and placed all their hopes on their affections. Both Sammy and the other boy undergoes through constant suffering at the end of the process which they take an active part in. In both of the stories, the authors dive into the unstable thoughts of the young man who ought to be faced with one of life's most complex lessons.

" In the end, it is seen how the two boys are faced with the grim reality about the girls having no ultimate desire to consider various aspects of the company. This is an essential process of awakening for the girls. The gift of the young man to offer his love is well seen across the two stories, but no matter their efforts, both of them fail miserably. Their attempts to capture the attention of the girls and become their lovers did not succeed. Sammy understands what he will be responsible for changing his entire life entirely for the better. The expectations make hurt and emotional misunderstanding. Both Sammy and the boy suffer rejection at the end of the stories. Both of the stories also go into the unstable minds of the young man who was faced with one of life's most important lessons.

The greatest lessons learned through the story is real and can be applied in real-life happening. The novels have characters who are considered unwise and makes inappropriate decisions that affect their end. The physical looks turn out to turn them down from the final responses that they obtained (Saldivar 215). The girls become more unrealistic affecting the way in which the entire system is completed. The stories detail the efforts made by the characters to try and align their behaviors with the right channel. A key difference generated by the two stories is seen in the descriptions both of the characters provide. Sammy speaks of various individuals in the town, having customers had been showing up in the town with carts and different tools for shopping.

The authors of the two stories highlighted the ways in which the characters took the decisions. They had to take up inappropriate decisions which influenced their lives. It is prevalent in the end that both of the boys end up having inappropriate ending which is full of frustrations and hopelessness. They are not in a position to become the best even though they had showed significant efforts in the processes they completed.
