Unarguably, every individual would seek to reside in a place where they are guaranteed of their safety as well as that of their beloved ones. As said earlier, the deaths and rape cases we are hearing are mostly committed by people who are paid for that or grudge to mention but a few reasons. These acts leave the victims or the victim's family with the vengeful hearts and trauma for the victims if it's a rape case. Consequently, these acts may lead to possible unfavourable possible actions should the perpetrators be known. Therefore, since this is a debate, this paper will seek to shed light on why the perpetrators of heinous crimes like death or rapes should face deaths as punishment.

Furthermore, there is no better punishment for murder other than death sentenced. At least, a murder ought to experience the feeling they put the victim and the family of the victim through (Paternoster, 1991). When one murder an individual in the society, they forfeit their right to life. They therefore need to face it smiling. This sentence should be regardless of who one is. This type of a person is one who the society need to know of and report to the nearby authority with an immediate effect (Paternoster, 1991). For instance, if one is paid to kill, he could simply kill the one who pays him eventually. Once such a person kills once, that gets into his blood and gets easy to murder anyone.

According to the recent research, last year, those who were for the death penalty right for the convicted of murder were 55%. All along since 1937, the proponents of the sentence have always been roughly and over 50%. In addition to that, prisons are overcrowded. There is no need to add more prisoners who do not deserve to stay with people around. If one was taken to prison for raping, they could end up raping and sodomising other prisoners. The management of these prisons, therefore, need to reduce the population of these prisons by eliminating the most dangerous criminals like murderers to ensure that the prisons are manageable and smoothly run.
