The qualitative study designs can be ethnographical, case studies, grounded theory and phenomenological. Musuuza, Roberts, Carayon & Safdar, (2017) in their study aimed to describe the process of daily chlorhexidine bathing and identify facilitators a and barriers to the implementation of daily chlorhexidine baths. The study results described three outcomes of the decision on bed baths. The outcomes of the study were descriptive. The study utilized semi structured interviews for data collection. The assessment of the research question in qualitative research also examines its ability to answer the needs of the nursing profession hence relevance of the research to practice. It is imperative for the evaluation of the research to evaluate the data collection methods that are used for reliability and validity of the tools used in the research as well as examining the usability of the tools (Leung, 2015).
