The citizens suffered from the increased chronic illnesses that were making their lives difficult because the treatment required huge sums. The rate at which the insurance schemes were discriminating the consumers meant that many people would not survive. The government intervention as a critical partner in regulating business and consumer protection was the likely option to save citizens from expensive health care access. Therefore, to topic leads us to look at the different aspects of the program and find out the progress and the intended value of affordable health care. Background of Affordable Health Care Affordable Care Act led to establishing new reforms in health care and resulted in passing two bills to comprise its mandate. There is a need to address the implications and offer specific measures to circumvent these rapidly rising problems. The elderly persons can also bear witness of the improvements in some areas despite having a significant number of them inflicted by several illnesses. There have been tremendous improvements in shaping good programs suited for some of the conditions and diseases among the elderly. Furthermore, they are not discriminated by their age since the Act eliminated this factor. Ease of Accessibility to Medical Aid The affordable healthcare is hence the driver of convenience in sustainable health6. The consumers are moving away from the plan to seek personalized systems from other insurance providers in the region who can still retain the personal touch with the patients. They have to raise the alarm to the providers of healthcare by informing them of their intention to seek treatment promptly. They have to do so because their appointment has to be accepted and a concern solved if they require additional services. The government will be taking strides to ensure the system behind the program does not collapse. It is indeed a challenging task based on consumer protection, and hence it must always be on the lookout. It is a necessary role to ensure the population is not suffering from the basics of their health. The participation to the program has been made flexible by extending coverage to low-income adults who were left out for a long time9. The law requires enterprises that employ more than 200 workers to provide health insurance coverage to its employees.

The Affordable Healthcare Act The extension of the Medicaid created the Children’s Health Insurance Program to be a strong foundation for delivering health coverage to children living in low-income households. The origin of this Act is the Children’s Health Insurance Authorization Act of 2009 which have been beneficial to many of the disqualified clients in the previous program set10. It also serves to provide extensive insurance to underprivileged children. The Act was a milestone of key historical figures that are entrusted to change the future of the United States. The insurance coverage has an element of goodwill that fosters the ability of Americans to yield more from their wealth. Low-Income households have been given a priority in managing their health as care becomes affordable.

They can manage their living conditions as well as live a pleasant life given the surety of accessible health care. The program has come as a necessity for the twenty-first-century populations inflicted with many problems. Importance of the Project (Lessons) The research provides a good insight into the developments of the health care systems which are a necessity to a growing population. The government can take a strong standpoint in favor of the citizens’ basic needs like access to affordable health care. When supported in the legal concept, the Act empowers the government to exercise unlimited powers to elevate the epidemics that affect the able population.
