In the video, the babies can be said to be around 4 months and can be categorized to be in the cooing stage. The two babies are making vowel-like and constant-like sounds to one another. The babies can also be seen producing sounds of laughter as well. We ca also see that the children have acquired turn-taking skills which can be seen when one baby talks, the other stops to listen. The children also have interactional cues skill, which can be seen by the why the two kids are pointing and touching the other. In a video published by Eric Palonen (2015), the kid by the name James is seen to utter words that are almost clearly heard, and well structured. The child’s utterances appear to be more adult-like and can be easily understood without much strain.
