It signed an agreement to join forces on a countrywide living tradition of Smithsonian Folklife Center with Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. The tradition was to be displayed in the National Mall. The article talks of the function of center in promoting for a policy of cultural heritage based in intercultural dialogue and cultural democracy and its partnership with UNESCO in constructing the 2003 Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Convention. The researchers concentrated on the Smithsonian Folklife Festival the Center’s Mark and building marketing relationships. This research aims at enlarging the understanding of contemporary marketing relationships with regard to cross cultural aspects. The study made use of causal model to incorporate and internationalize present trust and relationship commitment models as primary interceding variables in such mentioned relationships. Therefore this study particularly concentrates on the adaptation of a firm to the culture of its partner. This is a significant factor affecting collaboration in relationships of cross-cultural marketing. According to the authors of the article the researchers presented and developed hypotheses concerning a conceptual model of the impact of adapting to culture on trust and commitment relationships of cross-cultural marketing. The sample population of this research comprised of southwestern U.S.A’s two major cities that were Chambers of Commerce and conduct business in various countries with foreign firms.
