This fact would be perfect and absolute if only it were true. However, it is an unfortunate fact that not every manager is a leader who has been proven over time to be a source of either failure in an organization or a conflict. Fortunately enough, once the roles of the managers and the leaders have been understood in any organization, the correct distinguishing can often lead to a compelling combination that would be responsible for success or profitability within a given firm. On the other hand, managers have the different set of qualities and characteristics than the leaders. The Business dictionary defines managers as people who are in charge of delivering a specific group of tasks. While the leader in an organization sets to innovate and bring changes, a manager aims at promoting the status quo. The work of a manager is mainly through the systems and structures that he or she creates.
