Reflections on Leadership and Decision-Making Within the Global Marketplace

Module 14: Critical Thinking Decision-Making within the Global Marketplace (130 points) In this final paper you are to draw on all the concepts that you have gained throughout the duration of the term. Moreover, your paper is to discuss your role as a skilled and knowledgeable leader who is faced with the challenges that confront the 21st century organization. Using the Saudi Vision 2030 as a backdrop for your discussion, you are to critically reflect on how the various concepts gained in the course can be immediately applicable to your own professional leadership career. As you present your discussion, keep in mind that your paper should be critically reflective, yet demonstrate a strong level of scholarship and application of the various concepts covered over the last 14 weeks. As this paper is based on your professional role as an organizational leader, there is considerable provision for your discussion in using real-life examples. However, it is required that you apply them to the concepts that have been presented in the course when doing so. Your well-written paper should meet the following requirements: Be 6-8 pages in length, which does not include the title page, abstract or required reference page, which are never a part of the content minimum requirements. Use Saudi Electronic University academic writing standards and APA style guidelines. Support your submission with course material concepts, principles and theories from the textbook and at least two scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles. Review the grading rubric to see how you will be graded for this assignment. File

Business strategies of tesco and asda marketing essay
Porters Five Forces: Called after Michael E. Porter this model identifies and analyses five competitive forces that helps in persistence of any organisations strengths and weaknesses. These forces include 1. The threat of the admittance of the new competitors. 2. The level of competitive rivalry. 3. The threat of substitute of products. 4. The bargaining electric power of customers (clients). 5. The bargaining electricity of suppliers. We will apply this model along with SWOT and Infestations to Tesco and ASDA. According to traditional economics rivalries between companies must drive earnings to zero because of the risk of substitutes. Standard substitution is able to reduce demand for a specific product, as there's a threat of consumers transitioning to the alternatives (Porter M. 1980).
The main premises and constraints of functionalism
The theory I have chosen is functionalism, whose basis is the systemic aspect of culture, or what might be most properly selected as a "glue" concept of culture. I am however, deeply aware that no theory explains everything and every theory has its constraints, reason the grand theories all failed: phoning for complementarity in the theoretical frameworks and methodological assumptions that informs our research. This simple fact explains the constant progress of theory in anthropology from evolutionism using its unilineality to poststructuralist ideas today. In what follows, I will describe and illustrate the primary premises of functionalism, and spotlight the constraints of the functionalist construction. Functionalism was one of the initial anthropological ideas.
