Marketing should leave the consumers with the impression that the respective commodity is well priced compared to those by competitors, that its quality is better, and they will benefit from the better value by purchasing it. Another very significant point that the company should not only consider but also rigorously apply is consultations with their consumers on preferences. It is crucial that the company understands the wants of the consumers by making sure that they receive their opinions first hand. To make sure that there is a perfect product awareness by the intended market, the company should conduct a marketing or awareness campaign so that the potential customers’ scope is increased. Especially when introducing new features, the company has to indulge in a great deal of marketing to ensure that the public understands the nature of the new products and reconcile them to the wants they have been designed to meet.

Strategic marketing will also involve policies and procedures that check organizational areas aimed for improvement. For success, it is important that the organization has a very visible leader at the helm of the implementation. They coordinate and determine the roles of everyone else in the organization and tap it for results. Follow-ups will then be done using performance measuring tools. It is important that they utilize a strategic map that compiles the key ingredients to the organization’s performance. Another crucial factor is that the management has to uphold communication through regular updating meetings on regular basis and intervals. Management and technology systems should also be used to evaluate the progress rate. Moreover, the workforce has to be motivated to adopt the change and be comfortable with the asset strategy.
