Name: Instructor: Course: Date: Exploring Racial Divide Racism in America is an aspect that has owned a striking image on the political arena. Politically major differences in political opinions arose majorly and based on the basis of racial division. To make things clearer despite the several races inhabiting the American boundaries two important races are easily distinguished from the rest of other races these are the white Americans and the African Americans who are otherwise known as black Americans. Narrowing down to Kinder and Winter’s article on Blacks Whites and Opinion on National Policy the two authors address the issue of racial divisions in America majorly between the whites and the blacks. The two authors discuss and analyze with substantial pieces of evidence from both personal research they do and other secondary sources and provide an in data analysis on the dominant avenues that race division ply. They classify sense of conservativeness regarding racism (Kinder et al 451). These two ideologies should be balanced to obtain a narrow gap in racial division. However for the case of political candidates they should not be compromised on the basis of race even so there policies and campaign manifestos should not take the side of their racial groups but rather address issues of public interest. A black political aspirant should not be compromised on his leadership abilities due to hurdles such as the social class in which the black community is situated neither should the white political aspirant be given no benefit of doubt in leadership because of the material dominance and control that his or her racial identity group has achieved.
