Having worked with the resource and recommending it to the team creates no doubt on its outcome. However, she could have recommended the resource simply because it is owned by her brother hence favoring her family and at the same time, she could be benefiting from the resource. I think Sandra should have made it clear that her brother owns the resource and she has no intention of benefiting or profiting from the resource by all means. I would question the quality of services provided by the resource in order to clear the doubts. If there the quality of the resource is unquestionable, and it is clear that Sandra is not trying to benefit from the resource in any way, then I would encourage the team to go for it.
