It is also referred to as a thesis. To come up with a good dissertation, one needs to have a strategy or strategies to achieve a successful dissertation. Most of the candidates pursuing the doctorate do not start their dissertation soon enough since it is a completely new experience for them and far much different than other previous work they have done. By completing a dissertation, one graduates from a student to a scholar (Lunenburg, 2008). Managing a dissertation involves coming up with strategies which will help in coming up with efficient end results. Time management can also aid in managing a dissertation. This is by planning time each day to focus on the work, stick to the schedule and lastly giving the dissertation the attention it requires (Grove, 2011).
