DiGi is wholly-owned subsidiary by Telenor Group which is a pioneer in mobile communication in Norway. In December 1997, DiGi became the first Telco to be detailed on Bursa Malaysia. From 1999 to 2002, DiGi also became the first Telco that create an e-payment system, offer Automatic International Roaming and Standard Packet Radio Service (GPRS) as well as becomes the first ever to launch MMS. In addition, in August 2008, DiGi announced Deep Green and is designed to reduce the company's carbon footprint towards 50%. From then on, DiGi offers iPhone 3G services in Dec 2010 and it placed top performer in Malaysia by Carbon Disclosure Task 2011.

And current strategies the company currently using to handle these environmental impact. This may be performed by exploring how McDonald's take on with all of the external and interior environmental factors.

For many years media advertising was viewed as the strongest form of creating understanding to a companys brand. However, the 21st century brings with it the decline of traditional media. As humans are being exposed to increasingly more advertising on a huge scale, it is only inevitable that the effectiveness of the mass communication will greatly diminish. Magazines and newspapers are losing viewers, radio is shedding listeners, and most importantly tv set is losing visitors. What's driving this trend is that consumers are drifting more towards digital press driven by online content - typified by sociable advertising sites and online games, as well as increasingly more homes access broadband internet connection and its capability to provide an ever-growing and an ever-higher quality of video content.
