However, the traditional media such as TV ads play a crucial role in marketing a brand. Thus, the story that the future is digital and TV is dead is merely a myth (Ritson). Summary of the Article The digital advertisement has significantly grown over the traditional advertisements such as TV ads. The impact of the digital ad does not have a more significant effect relative to the TV ads (Ritson). In as much as the TV ads are considered traditional, they have a substantial role in creating awareness of a company’s products and services. Thus, they are reluctant to shift their advertising budgets entirely to the digital media (Draganska, Hartmann and Stanglein 578). For optimal results, an organization should invest their advertising budgets to both the digital and traditional media since they both play a significant role in creating synergy in the advertisement.
