Same sex marriage essay

I drew this sketch at a time when many gay people are being oppressed by the law and the society as a whole while the governments keeps quiet about the issue and I think this is the best moment to use art to visually describe it. The sketch hopes to change the view of people against same-sex marriage. This is my contribution to the movement to the LGTBQ community. The sketch shows two females partners being strangled by anti-gay society. The focal points of the art are the hands struggling to squeeze the life of the two partners with their eyes oozing blood and almost popping out. The use of different forms of colors and clothing depicts the “husband” wearing a trouser with short while the “wife” has a dress and long hair to demonstrate the unique diversity of same-sex marriage.
