rape can be done by both men and women; it’s not only men who are involved in it. Sexual assault on the other hand involves not only penetrating a body part but also include penetration of any other object (Searles, 2018). Sexual assault can also be seen in terms of touching someone in a sexual way against their will. Sexual assault in most cases is treated as rape. The essay is based on an analysis of a portion of an advertisement. Case reflection Focusing on the advertisement, we realize that the girl being a victim is involved in emotional disturbances. By saying that she stopped living when she was raped clearly implies that rape cases makes one depressed to the extent of not realizing the value of their life anymore (Holmstrom, 2017).

This is clear in relation to the concept of victimology which implies that they are subject to shame and also feeling of guilt in relation to the action (Tellis, K. With such feelings and emotional disturbances the other hidden effects come out at a particular time and through flashbacks, the victim may be realized of being tearful and irritated. At some point she even becomes angry to an extent of not in a position to engage with other people. Conclusion In conclusion, the case study provides a good and experimental advertisement that clearly portrays what cannot be physically realized when looking at a rape victim (Bostaph, 2017).
