K. S. - Follow and Obey the Laws the Kings Set - Black Gangster Disciple Chicago has been the home ground for African American gang alliances. The entire street war scene began when poor Irish immigrants faced with external attacks formed groups in response to protect their community. Soon, other ethnicities also decided to follow suit. Also, the gang members stay faithful to each other, showing up at their good or bad times with no exceptions. Such groups use distinct symbols, outfit colors, tattoos, hand signs, or salutations. It helps them stand out from the regular crowd. Finally, these individuals are usually involved in illegal activities that harm society. The core values of such groups are - loyalty, unity, identity, and reward.

To this symbol, they also use two crossed upright pitchforks. For regular clothing, they stick with shades of blue and black. According to Gangster Disciples knowledge, the gang cashes over $100 million per year. Most of the amount comes from Chicago narcotics sales and street tax. It includes all the revenue earned from various business fronts. Currently, Black Disciples' top-ranking member, the crowned King, is King Shorty. From the gang, over 300 subgroups exist all over the US, each consisting of 30-40 members. The organization uses the term soldier for its lowest-ranking member. It further divides leaders into positions like Minister, Assistant Co-Minister, and Demetrius. [2] They have maintained their position as a street gang by roping youngsters into their ranks. He proposed joining forces and working towards strengthening their presence and identity. In June 1970, David Barksdale got shot in the midriff resulting in severe blood loss. He then agreed to join hands with Larry Hoover. It led to the formation of the Black Gangster Disciple Nation (BGDN). It finally led to the formation of F. O. L. K. S. It will help them gain social, political, economic, educational, and organizational unity. The members believe themselves to be 'F. O. L. K. They have existed since the beginning and will continue to do so. This existence continues because each member of the group is here to contribute. Their goal is not only limited to the bounds of street violence. They want to grow and prosper together as a community.
