In another painting, fruits are seeing spilling from a porcelain bowl onto a Turkish carpet. The dashing hat of the officer is made up of fur, which was obtained from European explorers from Americans in form of a barter trade in an exchange with weapons. The book also reviews the trade that used to take place between different states, “Therewith silver mined in Peru - Europeans would purchase, by the thousands, the porcelain so often shown in Dutch paintings of this time”. 1Traditionally, there were different forms of presenting cultural work. One of this artworks was painting. 3 As far as the sources that were used by the author is concerned, it is clear that the book is not only based on information that is obtained from historical archives.

These include published resources with some of them being books that were written in the 16th and 17th centuries, the background still remains the fact that the author is concerned about using information and data that gives a coherence as well as a historicity to their arguments. The sources used are mainly secondary ones as he refers to an information that has already been collected. According to my view, the experience that this historian has, together with his greatness in prose quality, they are have made him much competent of carrying out this research and give such a good information that is this much reliable. One of the issues that have been the backbone of this study is the issue of political aspect and this is considered to be the protagonist of the study.
