Fashion can be used to portray the culture and way of life of a given society. The various fashions apart from reflecting taste and preference can also be used metaphorically to explain the deeper meaning of the situations surrounding a given society. Bruce Lee’s Fashion The renowned martial artist named at birth Lee Jun- Fan but commonly called Bruce Lee had a unique taste of dressing. Bruce Lee is well remembered by his fans on his love for yellow jumpsuit that had black strips on its edges. Actually at the time of his untimely death in 1973 from an allergic reaction he was in the process of making the movie Game of Death where he to an anonymous bidder hailing from Hong Kong who paid quite a fortune for the honor of having ownership of the outfit. The total amount of money collected from the whole auction doubled what was expected. This shows how valuable this fashion is regarded in the world. Conclusion The yellow color of the jumpsuit and the black stripes were selected deliberately by Bruce Lee to convey a special message which the whole world now understands.
