Project Management Processes Common to Contemporary Technology-Intensive Organizations (Author) (CWID) (Assignment Number) (Course Number and Name) (Professor’s Name/Title) (Date) Abstract In the world of today project management is a versatile profession that stretches across many sectors. Every modern organization is in need of a competent project manager. The process through which they achieve prioritization amidst constraints within their sphere to select the best project is thus a crucial consideration. In this paper there are various aspects of project management including initiating projects developing plans for those projects and executing the plans appropriately for achievement of organizational goals. The manner in which the cost of the project can be controlled and minimized within the constraints is critical. Technicalities involved in the modern highly automated systems that are already in place and the use of CPM in scheduling makes modern project management even more sensitive. The practice of project management in the project is consistent with the objectives mission and vision of an organization. Most organizations are currently adopting scientifically proven mathematical techniques to do their feasibility study on projects and predict the profitability of various ventures in projects that they intend to implement. Such are like the use of CPM in scheduling tasks in a project. References Binder J. (2016). Global project management: communication collaboration and management across borders. CRC Press. Burke R.
