Sociology of mental health Analysis on the film of Finding Nemo

For this paper we will analyze concepts in the sociology of mental health through film. You will examine how the film illuminates and/or extends a concept in the sociology of mental health (see Chapter 4), such as the social construction of illness, medicalizing, labeling, support resources, social support, mattering, help seeking, and so on. Your analysis is a 3-4 page analysis in which you will 1) discuss the context of and briefly summarize the film by answering the questions below, 2) clearly define the concept you use, and 3) discuss in detail your application of the concept – that is, how it is illuminated and perhaps extends our understanding of the concept through the film.
