Therefore, by the existence of this holy trinity, there is no way to God the Father without going through the son. This facilitation is only possible after an intervention of the Holy Spirit with its life-changing power. I believe that by this process, God desires for us to establish a personal relationship with him by asking and trusting in the teachings of his son Jesus Christ in collaboration with the intimate salvation offered by the powers of the Holy Spirit2. This salvation has been availed to us through the words of God that can are found in the texts of the bible. Though written by men, I agree as truth that God is the source of inspiration behind these texts which are spiritual, historically and scientifically accurate.

Our lives are therefore not upright enough because even when we think of something noble, we almost always have a hidden motive or agenda. When the standards that God has put forth are measured against even our best of efforts, we often come short. It is also evident in John 1:12-13 which says: " But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God4. " It is therefore of paramount importance that humanity understands the inability of their desires and needs to save themselves and seek the proper power and salvation of God.

Similarly, if we aim first to understand the nature of human being's desperate needs, it will facilitate our gratitude towards the provisions of God. This need is recognized in the bible as in Romans 8:35-39 "Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord6. " Christian service, or Ministry in other terms, is the work that a Christian conducts or the service that he volunteers unto others characteristics to the duty of a servant. Ministry is always viewed as duty discharged to fellow human beings and/or to God, in his name. Christians in ministry are akin to servants in the sense that, they are a power unto themselves, but still at the beck and call of the creator and his purposes that ought to be fulfilled on earth.

2 It means being ready at any time and voluntarily yielding to God's calling, to be employed and deployed at his discretion. The goal is to win souls and bring more of humanity to have a closer and personal relationship with God's glory by carrying forth Christ's mission on earth. 3 As Christians and the church in general have an attempt at meeting the necessities of the congregation and humanity according to God's will, there are those activities that I believe can go a long way to meet the needs that I have highlighted in this essay. These are basic needs such as food and clothing, and also the needs for love that is prevalent in every individual. This involves any humanitarian work towards the poor, homeless and disadvantaged in society.

Organizing missions and outreach programs to orphanages would help bring food and other amenities such as toiletries to the children who do not have much privilege to have their needs tended to by a family8. Founding of other facilities that are accessible free of charge to these individuals, such as emergency aid centers, clinics and even food pantries, is a strategical ministry endeavor that will satisfy their needs. Although all Christians are called for the service that Christ has put forth unto them, there is a touch of individualized calling for each one of them. This is owed to the reason that God provides specific guidance to his people to a particular kind of work. My sense of ministry involves not only a call to action but a call to life.

Growing up, I have sometimes dedicated time to tutoring students as part of volunteer work. Helping out the marginalized and low in the community around me is desirable to me and this desire grows daily. Armed with adequate knowledge, foresight, and reflection, I know I will be able to navigate through the specific activities of ministry and its particular programs that I want. As it happens in Acts 2:44–47, where the believers sold all they had in their possession to give to those who were in need, and "they broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved," I believe that life-change is something that happens best in a community setting 10.

It is this conviction that propels me to ground myself in the acts of outreach and organized missions to the world that exists outside the church. Even in the parable of the Good Samaritan, Christ emphasized the point that we shall accord love and respect to everyone regardless of any distinction we might have between us. As someone who intends to be an example of Christ to the people I shall be committing outreach towards, the value of morality cannot be underrated. Every action of my life shall be a reflection of the intentions of heaven so I may be a light to those with whom I shall interact. In pursuit of a Godly life, it is critical that I be strong in mind and spirit and subsequently portray these in my character.
