As you may have heard there are a number of factors that may have led to the exploding of the phones. They were caused mainly by phone battery fires. The phones use lithium ion battery to power them and the liquid that is usually inside the batteries are highly inflammable. Once the battery short circuits for example if the extremely thin sheet the sheet of plastic that separates the positive and the negative sides of the battery is being punctured that puncture point becomes the medium by which the least resistance for electricity flows. This is what Samsung also working closely with the U.S consumer product safety commission to ensure that thorough investigation is done on the cases involving galaxy note 7. Since customers’ safety is one of our major priorities we ask all our carriers and retail partners all over the world to stop the sale and exchange of the product in questions as the investigation is underway.
