As an expert in instilling knowledge to the thirsty and ‘over-informed’ millennials, it is a basic requirement that you possess the little know-how of technology. In this paper, I will focus on discussing various issues such as the role of technology in education, how students will use technology as a learning tool, as well as the various technologies that I intend to apply in teaching. To begin with, it is of importance to understand the scope of technology as far as teaching and learning are concerned. Technology is not only limited to the use of the internet. I understand that by placing technology in the academic context, many individuals will assume that it will imply the use of the internet as a learning resource.
