Comprehensive Case Study Revisited.
Evaluate the impact of new information on the conclusions and recommendations you made for the case study you analyzed in Module Two, Week Seven. Access and read the appropriate case study augmentation for your specialization in the Case Library for Module Three. You will use either the Spring Valley Mental Health Center or the Capital Veterinarian Clinic case study augmentation.
Conduct a comprehensive review and analysis of the additional information provided about the case study you already analyzed. Review the conclusions and recommendations you made and reconsider the approach you outlined in your Week Seven paper. In a paper of at least 10 pages (excluding title, abstract and reference pages), address all of the following:
a. Analyze the current situation, incorporating the additional information about the case that you have just received. Provide a thorough overview of the factors that contribute to the emerging situation. How is the emerging situation related to issues or concerns you previously identified in the original case study?
b. Identify the stakeholders most directly affected by the new information you have received. How would you work with individual stakeholders and stakeholder groups to address concerns they may have about the current situation?
c. Describe the impact the additional information about the organization may have on team and leadership dynamics, organizational culture, values and ethics, and social and cultural diversity. How does the additional information change your perspective of each of these organizational dimensions?
d. Identify additional information you would need to fully understand and evaluate the new situation. Describe the quantitative and qualitative research methodologies or investigative techniques you would employ to gather this information.
e. Construct a set of recommendations or approaches to address the new challenges, justifying your recommendations based on academic research and relevant principles, theories, and models that guide practitioners in your area of specialization. Outline the steps individuals might take to implement these new recommendations.
Support your analysis, discussion, and recommendations with references to at least five scholarly sources (academic journal articles) in addition to any required course readings and any Internet sources you reference.
Your Week Nine paper is an assignment that builds on the work you completed during previous weeks of this course. Therefore, it is natural that you will use concepts you discussed in your previous assignments in this paper. However, you MUST produce original academic work for this paper. It is NOT acceptable to cut and paste sections from previous papers into this paper. A sentence or two extracted from an earlier paper and inserted into your Week Nine paper is permissible; more than that is not acceptable. You may, however, use reference sources you cited in earlier papers in this final assignment.
